TO GO Tumbler 240ml vs 360ml: Which Size to Choose

Quick answer

Choose the 240ml if you want a compact, light tumbler that fits small bags and short commutes; choose the 360ml if you need more drink for longer days or desk use. Both use the same TO GO Tumbler plug lid set, so the real decision is capacity versus portability.

Why capacity changes the carry, not the lid

The 240ml and 360ml belong to the same TO GO Tumbler series, so the lid interface is shared. That means your choice does not change how the lid works or how you clean it; it changes how much you carry and how the tumbler feels in a bag or cup holder.

A smaller body is easier to slip into a tote or backpack side pocket, while the larger body reduces how often you refill during a work session. Neither size is universally better; match the volume to the length of time you are away from a refill.

The plug lid set is a shared accessory, not a size upgrade

The replacement lid and plug set is listed for the TO GO TUMBLER series and is made from PCT resin and silicone rubber. Because it is a series accessory, it is not a reason to pick one capacity over the other. If you already own a TO GO Tumbler, check that your model is part of the series before ordering a replacement.

The set is described as providing a leak-resistant seal, which matters most when the tumbler is carried in a bag rather than kept upright on a desk. For commuting, that seal is the feature that makes a lidded tumbler practical in the first place.

Where the 240ml wins and where it falls short

The 240ml is the more portable option when bag space is tight or you only need a small drink between refills. It suits short trips, errands, and anyone who prefers not to carry a full-size tumbler.

The trade-off is obvious: you will refill sooner. If you drink steadily through a long commute or a full workday, the smaller capacity can become a chore rather than a convenience.

Where the 360ml wins and where it falls short

The 360ml gives you more drink per fill, which is useful for desk work, longer commutes, or days when refilling is inconvenient. It is the more practical choice if the tumbler will mostly stay upright at an office.

The trade-off is size and weight in a bag. A larger tumbler takes up more room and is less discreet in a small purse or a crowded commuter bag, so portability-minded buyers may prefer the 240ml.

Trade-offs at a glance

• Capacity vs refill frequency: The 360ml holds more per fill, while the 240ml needs refilling sooner. Pick based on how long you are away from a refill point. If you are rarely near a refill, the 360ml saves interruptions.
• Portability vs bag space: The 240ml is the easier carry in small bags and crowded commutes; the 360ml takes up more room but reduces how often you top up. Measure your bag's side pocket before choosing the 360ml.
• Lid compatibility: The plug lid set is shared across the TO GO TUMBLER series, so lid replacement does not depend on which capacity you own. Confirm your tumbler is part of the TO GO TUMBLER series before ordering the lid set.
